Maintenance
The smoke sensing part may be affected by dust, cobwebs, etc. Please wipe clean regularly, soak a rag in water and wring it out thoroughly before wiping the body.
In order to avoid the deterioration of the alarm body affects the function, it is recommended to set more than 10 years, it is best to replace the new.
The alarm is tested, cleaned, and inspected monthly to ensure the safety of your home!
Battery change
Time to change the battery
The fire alarm would warn with short beep sound or flash when it is out of power, and that indicates the change of battery. Please look up the instruction manual or contact the company to find out whether the battery is replaceable, otherwise change a new fire alarm instead.
Steps
- Check the manual or ask the manufacturer whether the type of residence alarm can replace the battery, if it can not be replaced, please directly replace a new residence alarm.
- Turn the body of the alarm to the right and remove it.
- After removing and replacing the battery, press the test button for 3 seconds to send out an alarm sound.
- Replace the battery body of the alarm with the two latches on the base and turn it to the left.
