Article 16
The management of the following premises in the City that are not required by law to have automatic fire alarm equipment and are not required to have residential fire alarms under Article 6, Paragraph 4 of the Fire Services Law shall install and maintain residential fire alarms in accordance with the provisions of the regulations for the installation of residential fire alarms:
- Buildings for residential use.
- Various types of premises fire safety equipment installation standards, Article 12, paragraph 1 of the provisions of Class A premises.
- Other places designated by the Fire Department.
Article 22
If a person fails to make improvements within the time limit after being notified by the Fire Bureau of the violation of Article 10-1, the management shall be fined not less than NT$6,000 and not more than NT$30,000; if the management still fails to make improvements after the fine is imposed, the penalty may be imposed repeatedly. However, if the building is not for lease under Article 10-1, Paragraph 1, as amended on October 16, 2008, the penalty shall be applied three years after the announcement of the amendment.
